new to this ! so i'm ready to be shot down ....... ive been looking at the fleetline history and would it be fair to say it is a splitty in its own right ? all the photos i've seen have a large FLEETLINE logo on the rear luggage bay door, is this stamped into the panel as the roundial on the front?

Welcome to ACVWSA vanana.

Have you seen this thread?: http://www.aircooledvwsa.co.za/viewtopi ... =25&t=9014

Yes, Fleetlines are splits in their own right and are unique in their own way. Only about 5,000 of them were built from late 74 to early 76 and AFAIK they were the only RHD buses to have been made in Brazil.

The Fleetline emblem on the back is a vinyl sticker.
