Hi,

Does this club still exist? More so, is Werner still around?
I`ve been reading an old Car mag of mine, dated September 1990 and read an article he wrote to the editor.
Would like to know if his "dream" materialised since then....

Ha ha, got you all going there for a moment. The Jacaranda Beetle Club is only doing a breakfast run on Sunday.
It is a event for club members only because of the liability risks to the club and savva membership affiliation etc etc.
I will post our next "open" event.

Werner`s dream, according to his letter, was that one day he would open a "beetle" museum and a host of other stuff which I see has come to pass already!
Good one Werner! I always say that the richest man in the world is a man with a dream that he has made a reality.
That letter is 22 years old.

Ok so I'm at Werner's house right now, but see Didi cleared things up. Yes it is only a Breakfast run to an airstrip near Pta.
Jbug I would love to see that article . I am currently helping Werner with the Museum, but as I have mentioned before, it is going to take some time to get the museum presentable. I will try and post some more pictures on my website soon.
