Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Yes, an ambulance. Now it looks like it's owned by builders. Hopefully the engine will blow before they fcuk up the body too much. Working for a builder is a death sentence for a bakkie. :(

The bubble on the roof covers an ambulance-only electric fan in the roof, and also you can see the rear windows are frosted.

Looks in nice condition.... Hopefully as Fig says they blow the motor and retire her to a proper aircooled nut

Cool thanks for the info ! now I learned something new today.

The pic is rather crap, I took it while driving (yeah I know about cellphones and driving) but it looked in very good nick, paint was shiney, and I couldnt spot any dents and or rust.

If you see him again, stop and speak to him. Make him an offer & tell him to go & buy a good second hand Mitsubishi L300 or similar, which is much more suited to his business!
We have a girl working in our factory which comes to work on a bicycle. The bicycle looks very "European", so one day I take a closer look & see a little sticker on the mudguard:
"Fiets Verhuur Steenwijk". Steenwijk is a town in The Netherlands, & very close to where my parents come from, so I ask her what see wants for it. She thinks a while and says if I get her another bike in same condition, we can swop!
Do the same with the ex-ambulance :hangloose:
