I tried to drift it... it went well until around where that photo was taken. The back end got grip at that stage and flung me into the kitty litter :)

The injectors are Bosch 2200cc

The fuel rail was made up by Ivan at Volkspares. I gave him the lengths and he did the rest

Yip, it's real tight. That's the reason for using those shorty injectors.

The more I work on this car, the more I remember why you cannot do something like this for a customer.... there is over 30 hours of work onto the exhaust, boost pipes and intakes so far. Imagine having to charge a customer for that kind of time.

lol.............Oh I hear you on that one. I thought that mine was tight, but yours is on a whole new level.

I've avoided 2 guys that asked about 2.0 8v conversions as I said, add about R10 000 - R15 000 to the cost of all the parts.

Both said that I was smoking until they realised how much work is involved in doing it.

Some progress again
fr_1001_size880.jpg
Oil cooler block off installed, the oil cooler will be run from the dry sump return line like my circuit racer. Hopefully this will help with the oil pressure, I'm a bit worried about the oil required to feed the turbos... 2x oil restrictors will be needed.
fr_999_size880.jpg
Vacuum bungs for the ecu and dump valve.
fr_998_size880.jpg
CHT sensor for the ecu on cylinder nr 3. This is mainly for the cold start fuel compensation
fr_997_size880.jpg
Bosch air temp sensor after the intercoolers and methanol micro fuel injectors
fr_996_size880.jpg
Exhaust brackets to support the silencers and turbo weight, the turbos will have brackets as well to give the headers the best chance of lasting without cracking.
