Well done.

Always the hardest part, getting the layers of old paint off, thinking should I just rub it down or take it to metal.

Knowing full well, that should you rub it down, it will badly react with the new paint, then you got to start again anyway.

This will be one fine bug when done.

The bonnet and bootlid is off and onn a lot of times to check alignment and curvature. Once all the rough work is finished we will spray hinges and fit them and the bonnet finally just before final paint this way you get a coat of paint in all the nooks and crannies but also over the whole car. It is almost impossible to do the fenders without solidly bolting them on

Well done, it may be happening slowly, but boy, is it looking good.

I always find its the satisfaction of me my self knowing its a job well done that makes the car so much more enjoyable to drive and enjoy.

Keep it up
