Would love to hear what the going rate for a fully restored oval would go for?

Any price indicators??

Usually as much or as little as the owner wants for it, and somebody is willing to pay.....

I don't believe there are enough ovals of a comparable condition for sale in SA to really be able to establish a market value.

Recently I've seen several ovals, in varying conditions, but all needing some restoration, being offered for about R40k. I personally would not value an impeccably restored oval at any less than R100k if I were the seller; significantly less if I were the buyer ...

To get a sense of what they should be worth, track the asking prices in the UK and the US, via ebay, thesamba classifieds, specialist restorers/dealers, etc.

Thanks all for the feedback - - I love my oval to much to get rid of him. Think I will hang on to him a bit longer
