Big red baja
Ok what do you do when you are a big VW nut and all your company's contracts are done and out the door. You jump in one of these
and start tearing up the nabourhood,
But that gets old after some time too. Well you got a shop full of craftsmen that is doing nothing so you start tearing into or apart your fire engine, till you end with just a frame
Give the "big boss" a try in the driverseat

Re: Big red baja
Then you set your craftsmen to build you a mold of your beloved car out of foam, only a few times enlarged

Re: Big red baja
So then you call a few friends that owe you and they whip you a frame up, turned a few heads on the highway, but oh so nice..
It looks so sweet sitting in the shop

Re: Big red baja
So the great moment when we put the frame on the chassis, oh mother of g... this is freightning.
Just a pic to show that this is not the first BIG VW we have created, more to come....
We then covered the frame with plastic just to get a feel of how it is going to look, Sweeeeeeeeeet
This is as far as we got with this build, but I will sure try and keep you updated as we make any progress, and we need to hurry Burning man will be apon us before we know it.Just a pic to show that this is not the first BIG VW we have created, more to come....

Re: Big red baja
I always wanted one of those when I lived in Atlanta. Would of shortened my drive time and the cars in front of me. Looking good.
