Managed to get these bits loose
Anyone know where one can get the rubber pipes with the metal tubing inside

Am going to have a look at the scrap yard
Tubes od is 10 mm and leghth 410
Crimp marks on the metal sides
Idea is to drill them back to 10mm and then recrimp
That is if I can find supply of these lines

Jax Cables in Strand industrial can make up many varieties. Just Google the contact details.

I have the same issues on my bus, but decided to go the route and order all new items like these from Wolfsburg West. It doesn't work out much more expensive than locally made goodies.

Shot Sean
Surely a replacement tube is all we need
Gonna have a look at scraps and see what I find
Might have to get some extras for you and Paul

Well very good trip to the yard
2 x golf back cables
20 ZAR
Will cut them back to 410 mm and then put all back together
Flexi tubing will not need to much crimping
So will drill the old cimp out back to 10 mm and then fit and punch the flexitube vas
For the connection sides same theory - drill out the old wire and then recrimp
Just need a few meters of cable to measure exactlly
Might even use some of the off-cut pieces of flexi tube for the front
ie connect flexi tube to body tubing
Like the fact that the flexis have the logo on them 8)

These tubes also have a plastic portion inside which will be an upgrade to the originals where the cable was rubbing against the metal
