Buggy registration - what does your disc say?

I would like to change my buggy's description with the local vehicle registration office.
At the moment it is still registered as a "closed top sedan" what should it be?
Have you put your car through the test centre recently, what does your license disc say under the vehicle description?
I assume it should be an "open top" or maybe "cabriolet" or what about "kit car" if there is such a thing?
Thanks
Mario

One thing you do not want is, "Home built" ......
Have seen some with the word "Buggy" but most say Sadan, as you have a roll bar, over head, so it will not be a "Open Top"
All I know, it becomes a mission to change it...

So I can actually call it what I want and their system will accept it?
I was under the impression you only get to select from a list.
My biggest worry is to be stopped in a roadblock - will take a LOT of 'splainin because currently the paperwork says it's blue and "closed top" when obviously it's white and open top.

Maybe go to a testing station and see what can be changed
as when i bought my baja the papers stated white but the baja is red
he just checked all the relevant numbers and changed the color on the system
don't know if they all do that but it's worth a try

When I first got my Spyder it said unknown, then I changed it to Porsche, but that was in the 90's a lot has changed since then. Buddys beach buggy says "buggy"

They normally do not mind changing the colour, but the body shape is sometimes a mission.
On the next renewal, you just make a note of the new colour, on the renewal form, in the mean time, you tell them you just painted it "this Weekend' and the roof is at home.......

Reminds me of the Vaalie driving down 6th Avenue in Melkbos...
The fisherman is standing there with a bunch of Hottentot, the Vaalie goois "Hey, Midnight," (this was the old SA), "wat vra jy virrie vis?"
'Midnight' is tired, man. He's been pulling net from early morning, he's not lus for this oke's kak, êk sê.
He trolls over and pushes the bunch of "fresh" fish into the Vaalie's face and tunes "Ek vra hulle fokol, wil djy hulle iets vra?"

Thanks for all the replies.
I think I gonna try for "buggy" and "white"
Here's one that that my afrikaans teacher taught us in school:
Asking for directions in the Cape, the local was addressed as "Gatieppie" which upset him a bit since not everyone is called Gatiep even though us vaalie's do think so.
After a lot of "and at the second robot you turn left and at the stop you turn right" etc, So called Gatiep keeps quiet prompting the " and then Gatieppie?"
With the response "en dan ry djy in jou moer want ek is nie jou Gatieppie nie"

Maybe its a Cape Town thing because mine is also a :Ritsmotor"
While your at it, how many kids do you have and will they ride in the buggy?
6 of us got stopped at a road block near Oudshoorn about 3 years ago and all our buggies disc's were checked. Each buggy had a different passenger allowance.
Iwas allowed NO passengers while others were allowed between 1 and 5. How this works, i have no idea.
