From my Humble opinion,
NO.
Your chances of landing up with a clutch that chatters, or slips is so much higher.
With most clutch kits so cheap new, why take the chance. And you get the pressure plate and thrust bearing with it, as well as new clips. If you going through the time and expense of removing the motor, why not get it done right and only once.
Then rather go for a 2nd hand clutch from some one on the forum.

I have had no luck with reconditioning clutches, I have done it twice and both times I had to do it over because they were not entirely smooth.
Spend some bucks and get the decent Sachs clutch kit.
