My favourite year car that brings back memories

Hey guys
In 2000 I did a little trip with a Norwegian friend of mine. Basically his mom in Norway invited us for a cup of hot chocolate, so we did the polite thing and drove there. In a 1959 Kombi. (You can read all about it here http://www.aircooledwonders.com/categor ... w-wonders/ ) Another special car and probably my favourite in our collection is my 1959 beetle that my Grandfather bought new on 18 June 1959. So needless to say, I try to collect any air cooled VW and Porsche from 1959.
Unfortunately the Kombi we drove to Norway slip out of my hands for the time being, but fortunately I found a replacement that I bought last year. OK, I know it's not Mabel and I also know it needs a lot of work, but that excites me. Today a friend and myself went on a road trip to go pick it up and had an amazing day.

The plan is to slowly collect the parts needed and there are quite a few, so feel free to help or point me in the right direction
For starters I will need a
- tank
-all the side windows
- Safari wondows
-Front seat
This list will grow, but as I said , I don't need it immediately. I first need to focus on some other projects.
Till then I'll sit in it my 1959 Kombi and dream of all the good memories I've had thus far.
