Hi VW lovers
I own a single cab early bay window pickup and am looking for a reputable engine builder in the western cape who can supply me with a turnkey 1776 mill using all new parts.
Does such a company still exist, and can I expect any sort of warranty?
I am very picky and I'm considering building it myself if I cannot get a commitment on a decent warranty.

as far as I know he doesnt build modified engines
Dave Rowley builds engines. I am sure you know that an "all new" engine will be pretty pricey. You will probably be nearing the R30K mark just for the longblock.

Yep Tony is correct. Juergen only builds stock motors.
You do not mention where you are from??
The guys to speak to in Cape Town are Dave Rowley and Shawn Beneke at :

Yip either Dave or Arno will be your best bet for this motor and like Tony said it aint gonna be cheap. I paid 16k for my longblock. Best would be to go chat with Dave, discuss what your goals are for the motor, drivability etc. and from there things like cam, heads carbs etc can be defined.
