ACVW's will always stay close to my heart

This is just a stupid thread about people wanting to sell their ACVW's but ending up not doing it.
It had been almost a year and my beetles had been standing in the garage.
I had not driven any ACVW’s because of laziness and also a lack of time, staying busy with other things. I had tried to start my ’74 beetle and found out that it was missing badly. SO this totally pissed me off. Also my other beetle is 6volt, and the battery had run flat so I couldn’t start it.
I made the decision to SELL both beetles.
So this weekend I set out to fix them up , get them started and get them on the market to sell.
I did a compression test on the 74 and found that the one cylinder was a bit low. I checked valve clearances, added some valve ease in high concentration and let the car run for 10min, VIOLA!! It was running perfectly. I removed the tires and had them inflated again.
I then took the car for a drive.
WOW was that the best feeling ever, I had forgotten how awesome it is to drive a beetle, I got home gave the car a good was and polish. And off I went for a sunset drive with the seatcover.
Man I love ACVW’s I will never ever sell !!
