Hi There,
I always like to see how the other aircooled familymembers in the world are living there passion and create there dreamcar. Nice to see that there is also a VW community in SA
We own at the time 2 aircooled rides, a 56 oval beetle(since 1999) and a 71 Crossover T2 High Roof panelvan (sice 2011).
The beetle is an unwelded car, the T2 NOT.. not even close..
I build the beetle just the way i wanted it with extras from all over the world. Australian Flashtrim, SA Rostyles, USA fenderskirts, German 2x 28pci Express Hannover carbset, Australian sleepingchair seatrecliners - folding gearstick - solid metall sunvicer, Dutch Brink Towbar, some unknown Racks a.s.o.
The T2 is very handy for when the girl wants to come to visit aircooled events Have some more plans for this ride but first i need to robb a bank, just kidding
Well I will not be a very active member but i will watch the great rides of you and enjoying it!
Greetings from the cold Netherlands!
