Just as Domi and Zainab and their Herbie and caravan combo leave town, another two adventurers pull in !

I met Jos and Joerien Stevens by chance one evening on the main road in Camps Bay a few weeks ago, they had just rolled into town - from Amsterdam

What a pleasure to meet these two travellers and to see their Beetle. He told me that he is not mechanically minded, the car was in good condition when they left Amsterdam, and apart from some equipment for sandy conditions stored on the roof, this bug is completely standard. He says he simply starts the car every morning and off they go - and it has'nt given any problems !!!

Much respect :hangloose:

Sorry for the crap pics - but there is a stunning story and pics on http://www.Facebook.com/keverdoorafrica

They will be flying back to Europe and the bug will be donated to the VWSA museum in PE :D
