Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Re: Baywindow on Spitskoppe road
We had an unplanned roadtrip as Marelie's (my wife) grandmother passed away. The funeral was in Okahanja just north of Windhoek. Because of the vast distance we decided to visit the rest of the family as well in places like Mariental, Usakos, Swakopmund and Langstrand. We did nearly 5000 km in one week. I will definitely do a planned trip there the the bus some day.
Just outside Usakos, on the way to Swakopmund there is a turnoff to go to Spitskoppe. The locals sell some semi precious gemstones and crystals there. This is where I found this bus. At the moment it is someone's home. In Usakos itself I saw a bay single cab and Ghia on a smallholding engines removed. The climate is super dry, minimal rainfall. I am sure there are some nice cars lurking around. Also saw an early German bus in Reebot peeping out behind a garage........
