Hi all, My 1960 Beetle does not have a fuel gauge if I fit one will it increase the price of the car by i.e R5 Or will it decrease the value by i.e R5 as I am trying to keep it as standard as possible is it worth fitting,my one does not have place for one .

Only my 3 and 3/4 cents worth (inflation's a bitch), Get a great looking stick, sand it down, burn marks on it for each gallon, and store it in the hood.

This will increase the value of the beetle by R100, where the fuel gauge will devalue it by R1000

Or if you can not live with out one, mount it in the glove box, but then to prevent damage to the tank, fit it into a spare fuel cap..... :D
