This SA buggy by http://www.streetstufffibre.co.za/Index.htm is quite a discussion point on international forums at the moment. Personally I think they are heading in the right direction, perhaps not quite there yet. Should be interesting to see if this goes into production...

The side mirrors are a HUGE no-no!

It kinda makes sense that if you want to develop a buggy for the 21st century, make provision for a radiator because all the air cooled engines in the world now belong to Bugger!

I like it, especially the fact that the bonnet can open. Don't like the mirror location, but if it is a kit, not really a issue.

Is that a curved beetle windscreen? If so, how many of those are there around still, or are they made up for the buggy?

Furman glass still manufactures them and you can buy it from Volkspares for about R2k or so..

Ja Mixing a Baja bug, and a manx and a S
Shouts "Abomination" to me
Pine remember the blue buggy you snapped in Klerksdorp a long time ago with the beetle dash and windscreen. seems there is nothing new in the world

Change the mirrors to something decent and I will give it the thumbs up. Good to see the culture is still strong.

I like it 8)
But with those mirrors you'd expect it to go "beep, beep, beep" when reversing the buggy!

I like it a lot. It's got an aggressive stance. Thumbs up from me.
