Can anybody in the Pretoria area please direct or refer me to somebody that can make me a custom round fuel tank for my rod? I do have somebody that can make it for me (as a first time) but would prefer somebody that had made something like that in the past.

Another vote for Michael - best custom painter in the country. He did a course with me a while back and has started turning out some great metal shaping

As I'm doing the "32 Ford suspension on my Rod and not having a spare vw at the moment, I'm looking fro someone close to me in the Pretoria area (I'm in Gezina) willing to test it for me on their project.
Hi Harry,
I stay in the east rand. I am busy with a volksrod project. I will test your beam extender. What spec is it? How much does it cost. Thanks

Thanks Tinus. Well the doors we simply used the right one left and visa versa. Cut the window frames and weld it back to the relevant door. You would have to do the same with the door panels on the inside to get the door handles, window winders, speaker holes etc. in the right place. Then its just moving the hinges and build it into the pillars. Well that's how we did it. Not sure how it's done elsewhere in the world but this worked perfectly. I'll be home on the 24th when we can discuss. I'll mail you my phone #.
