No idea what they were for, but the translation is something like: "Together we make two".

depending on the actual size it might even be a bag for a canoe paddle.........

It is small, about 300mm long, by 100mm wide.

If its only 300mm long it cant be a willy warmer.

deduction tells me that it is probably a cover for a window scraper to get the ice and snow off your windows in the morning.
