So I took a very big change and went for the private race last nigh, what an experience!!!

the BM nearly caught you in the end.
Was it my imagination or were you slowing down from about 1/2 way? Was it you or the car?

yah went slower due to overheating, thought that while I was ahead might as well not muder the engine.

Not advisable but you enter while the other races are on, sometimes cash prizes but I got a nice throphy, basically did to check roadholding and gear, diff ratio and engine speed, going to build a 1660 class beetle racer, got inspired by 4age and his dad, boy you should see them racing!!!

Nou moet jy die race kar maar bou. Moenie weer jou blou beetle gaan ry nie.... die manne raak bietjie rof party keer.
Ek is seker n beetle kan werk in die 1660 klas.... ek het baie idees wat ons kan try op die handling wat ons nooit getry het destyds toe my pa nog oval gery het. Die eerste stap gaan maar wees om daai ander body te sandblast, dan sal ek jou kom wys waar om alles te sny en waar die cage moet loop.

Dankie Louis, jis die 1660's lyk darem baie vinnig maar as jy dink daar is n kans dan gaan ons daarvoor, sal nooit weer my blou beetle opsit nie, het maar gedink terwyl ek voor is?? Nou ja. Ek sal die week hoor wanneer die sandblaster beskikbaar sal wees, baie exited om te hoor watse idee's jy het.
