I just bought 165/80R15 tyres for my '63 today. But as far as I know you cant balance stock beetle wheels on a normal balancing machine. Does anyone know of a place where I can have the tyres fitted and balanced?
Thank you
Ferdinand

If you have a Wheel spacer, or even an old brake drum, with 5 wheel nuts, then they can fit it on the balancing machine.
With these options. most tyre shops will do it

I've read up on that, never heard of anybody local trying something like it, I saw on the interwebs beads up to the size of the plastic BB gun pellets being used, with success they say..

No, they supposedly move around to where they are needed and dynamically balance the tyre while driving..
