What year Kombi came out with the Air Boxes mounted on the door cards.

Please elaborate, what air boxes in the door cards? Are talking about the ventilation system mounted on the front doors of bay window buses?

I'm pretty sure the air ducts along the front doors were available from the start of baywindow production. The question is not when, but which models? They were fitted to microbus and deluxe models. Commercial models (ie, kombis, panels, pick-ups) did not have them, unless ordered as an option on kombis.
