I have just removed this engine to replace it with a 2L Golf motor. Heads are both good, but the motor needs new pistons and sleeves, etc. Selling complete engine with exhaust, etc. Based in CT. Best offer secures. Contact me via PM if interested.

Do you know of any 2.1 or 2.3's for sale perhaps?, might look into your 1.9 also as I have one currently running in my Beetle for spares maybe?,
