Was at the Pub the other day and was pissed and Broke
So I thought of a Piston and Conrod and had the Brain Wave to Call the Beetle Pissed and Broke as you all know how much money goes in to our toys and it sometimes pisses you of at the prices we have to pay and then you broke after wards

Well the Bug is in the Spray shop at the moment
I am bad with Pictures sometimes as I use the Camera and to get them down loaded is another story for another day

Little back ground
70`s model
Golf 2L long block 8Valve turbo motor (Makes 135Kw on the wheels with a very small turbo as I want instant power low RPM)
bought a Old Racing Beetle shell with a Roll cage in and transplanted it to Pissed and Broke with a few extra braces and Pipes
Driver seat full 6 point harnass and passenger 4 point (At SPeed week you go alone ) better for Weight but thought it good to have a Sui side seat
17' Rims with Disc brakes all round
fitted a Porsche Wing over the Engine bay to help with 3 things Cover the Golf engine sticking out a lot-fitted the Intercooler nicely in the wing and for top end need back down force
Transmission I will build a strong BUGGERD Box with Chrome molly main shaft 1st and 2nd(Now I hear you ask why for top end runs? I not building Pissed and Broke for top end but also for 8th mile and some 1/4 mile drag racing to play. then special 3de and a super long 4th gear ratio to have lekker long legs in 4th.I am contemplating on fitting either a Spool to lock the Diff as then I can go play a Bit of drifting as well but will decide when I assemble. Side shafts will also be Chrome molly to complete the full Package
Transmission and motor are mounted Solid with Pull up Braces and the Roll cage under advice from 4AGE Louis was tied in to the Back shock towers as this help with back suspension movement
Also got a set of Racing rear Fibreglass fenders and a SP Style front spoiler to fit
The inside will be painted same as outside with no roof linning but only the 2 front door panels and the 2 rear small ones

I should decide by the next 2 days what colour to Paint

2014 there will be a group of around 12 People going in the Vdubtech Racing Team down to Hakskeen pan for a team challenge to better our last year speeds
With the normally aspirated Rotary of Dr Watson at 162Km/h I managed
This year we want to try and break at least 182Km/h with eiter Bug we are taking with

Image. You might ask why I fitted the Porsche wing. 3 Reasons. Cool air for intercooler , hide The Golf engine Stickking out far and most important downforce for topend at Speedweek. I will play with the wing on and off and see if there are any sufferance with it on or off. Image. Started paint preparation on the body. Image. Welded all beading holes and grill holes on bonnet and rear sides air vents on body closed shaven look.
