I just bought this Kombi this morning and plan to do a basic camper conversion with rock 'n roll bed, a respray in the same colour and of course an overhaul of the steering components and brake system...After looking at around 8 kombi's over the past two months this is the first one I found to be worth buying, with minimal rust and mechanically not too bad.My '76 Kombi with 2L motor

Dayum Derek, are you trying to corner the market on all available buses? It's a nice looking bus.

Re: My '76 Kombi with 2L motor
Just had the bus taken through roadworthy - it's going to cost me the princely sum of R 1 500 for the rear brakes to be redone and a few bulbs to be replaced...
