HHHmmmmmm, someone is going Golf motor way. hehhehehe.

maybe a option to check, is to look for a second hand gotech or a Spitronics or a Dicktator. You can get a bit more power out of your motor then.

Hi Gerlach. Wel yes the camper has a 1800 Jetta engine but as I said, with all the extra weight my 0-100 is around 2 weeks. We did do a turbo conversion but the weber turbo conversion not exactly what I want. So thus the rational behind making it FI.

I got mine from them and they have a guy in Centurion that can do the chipping as well.

Ask for the shortened engine harness that they have, that's all you need, I think that the guy that does the ECU's and the chipping makes those up as well and adds the proper connectors onto it as well, so it's all plug and play.
I think I paid R2500 all in for mine about 2 years ago. I had a 1.4 ECU that was chipped for the 2.0 as well.

Busy doing a Fuel injector ( 440cc inj's) with cranktrigger system run by Spitronics on my 2.1 turbo engine, using a MP9 throttle body, will see how it works out

Went to City Used spares today and the guy told me complete I'm looking at about 7K. Flatfourfan said he paid about 2500 about 2 years ago. Big Big difference.

whaaaaaaaat?
screw that shit..........go have a look on the vwclub forum sa and ask around.
I double checked last night and I paid R2500 for a 1.4i box chipped to 2.0 and I paid an extra R750 for a new harness as I wanted the shorter one. But that is still way off 7k. Lemme ask around this weekend and see if there is anything floating about.
