This is 4x Wheels for sale @ R3500

4x130mm 15"
4.5Jx15"

History of these type wheels: These were special edition wheels made when The Volkswagen Beetle passed the Model T ford for the most produced model car in the world with 15007034 units made. The 15,007,034 'World Champion' at the AutoStadt, Wolfsburg. 'Marathon Beetles' were produced to celebrate the Beetles world record production figure of 15,007,034 - that car (a 1302 Super Beetle) subsequently named the 'World Champion'. 'Marathon Beetles' were offered as 1300cc Standard model and as a 1302 Super with special Marathon Metallic (metallic silver/blue, L96M) paint and unique silver and black sports wheels (Lemmertz made, part no. 000 071 475B - called 'Baja' wheel in US), Produced also in Australia as the '15 Millionth'.
1972 was a very exciting year for Volkswagen. On the 17th of February 1972, Beetle number 15,007,033 rolled off the assembly line forever entering the record books as the the World Champion, the car produced in the highest number, besting Henry Ford's Model T.
Volkswagen celebrated this milestone by producing a number of special edition cars for the world market. In Europe they were known as the Marathon Edition (or Weltmeister)in Australia the cars received special numbered plaques and in the US, the car was dubbed as the Baja SE , celebrating not only the production milestone but VW's success in off road racing. From what I have gathered, the rarest of these special editions is the Baja SE version with only 1000 examples being built.

Those have always been my favourite 4x130 VW rims. Unlikely I'll ever own an ACVW with 4x130 PCD though. :hangloose:
