What a rip off.... I bought mine last year for R399.99 down here in Cape Town
Stuart, Eish.. why o why?
Its a brilliant MP3 player... plays music via USB flash drive and via memory card. Also is an FM radio, as well as stand alone speaker. Plug another device into it and play it through the kombi. Comes with a USB charger, and lasts about 7 days per charge. Else keep it plugged into your PC.
Its well made and plays quite loud but yet clear music.

This is my one...
Retractable aerial in the roof... all the lights light up when the device is working.
Rear screen is the display for the MP 3 player and FM radio.
