this was posted on facebook and it also killing me to know what this car is, i remember the shape from when i was a kid but for the life of me i cant remember what make it is, i seem to remember the name alpine

That looks like a sunbeam alpine. The tiger was a ragtop

That is a Renault Floride / Caravelle. Been a bit butchered.
