Ellie - 1968 Static Beetle

Hey Guys
Just thought I'd share some background and pictures of my ride.
So just a year ago I started looking around for my first ride, however I wanted a ACVW Beetle, nothing less, and nothing more. After searching high and low, one rust bucket after the other, followed by overpriced dimes
about to give up hope, I laid eyes on my love, and immediately I knew she was the one, without hesitation, I called up the owner and handed him a deposit, few days later I brought home my first official wheels. - she's now named 'Ellie'.
She's an all standard 1600 twinport, 47 year old MILF born in '68. She is beige-ish brown in color (not entirely sure) and has maroon-ish leather interior (stock) and has a standard sunroof that open and closes with something close to a window winder. She was still rough around the edges, but she's a beetle so I cut her some slack bcoz in my eyes she was short of nothing but rust.
I got her for a really good price, however I had to have the engine rebuilt, gearbox and a few other things changed.
After I got her mechanically sound I called up QBeams and fitted a 4" narrowed beam with adjusters and turned down the rear suspension, just a tad bit
Think that's enough said, hope you guys enjoy the pics.
