I am looking to employ a mechanic on weekends only to do repairs and maintenance on my ACVW collection.

This would suit a mechanically minded youngster who is looking for employment experience, or even a qualified mechanic who is underemployed.

I would need the person to work on Saturdays and Sundays. I pay a generous daily rate, negotiable depending on ACVW knowledge and experience.

I would prefer someone with some experience with ACVWs, but I am willing to train and share my experience with a youngster who has a passion for ACVWs.

Pity, I'm old ..and recently retrenched....
but I'm considering doing something similar as a workshop.... depending on my ability to get employed soon

Problem is youngsters are just not prepared to get their hands dirty.
I had a conversation with my bro who runs 2 successful businesses in the motor industry, in the past 6-8 years he has employed around 10 "appies", everything according to industry requirements.
Only 1 has gone half way to completing the apprenticeship, most drop out in the first year, LOL.

It was no different when I was an appy. The only difference why you didn't quit was because:
1) We had pride in finishing what we started in those days.
2) My Dad would have moered me to death if I quit ANYTHING.
