Does the 1967 Type3 have a 6volt or 12volt system?

Blitzkrieg,

In stock form, it should be 6V. Mine is a '69 and it was 6V. I opted to change it to 12V for obvious reasons. Nobody flaming me ok, I still have all teh parts to re-convert it back to 6V when/if I feel so inclined...

Hope this helps.

From 68 they were all 12 v
67s some were also 12 v
12v was a factory option from the first type threes.

My 1964 notchback is factory 12V, original owner confirmed that electrics were never messed with, I was also confused, as bugs were 12V only much later as IMPI confirms.
