Future UP 356 Speedster or Coupe Build

Hi Guys, Callum here.
Reading these threads has fired up my need/want for a 356 replica. Ill be posting and reading more but want to ask if you can all give advice where needed. I am finishing up my cafe racer build then will be looking at starting a replica build from the ground up.
Decided I don't want to buy other guys issues or design ideas as I have a very specific idea in mind. The final out come will be a Speedster (or maybe a Reble Racer/Outlaw Coupe - part of me likes the 911esque lines) with original as possible looking interior and body but slightly lower on Fuchs or Gas Burners with upgraded engine and running gear. First thoughts is an IRS rear with disc brake front on a narrowed beam. All just thoughts for now but the fire is burning and the dreams are mostly of a 356 Speedster at night. I have built a few type1 restorations and resto-mods (56 Oval, 58 resto-mod and had a 60 Ragtop) so will try do as much myself as possible.
Any comments will be appreciated and when it comes time to buy parts I will hopefully be able to draw from the lessons you have all learnt.
