so i took the bus to work today....
all goes great until i pull off from sandton drive at the bottom of grayston. as I get to the top of the mid section of the hill, bella starts to hesitate.. definitely fuel...
I put in R50 on the way, so there was at least ~10l in the tank.
I have cleaned the tank and lines so it shouldnt be that.
I may have gunned it up the hill a bit, so carb floats?

It cleared up as soon as i was on the level... any suggestions for things to check?

I would check float level settings.

Also, misfiring under load can be a sign of imminent failure of an electric fuel pump, or a fuel pump that is not delivering enough fuel for demand.

check the fuel filter....
Also, if you have just recently cleaned the tank and lines, you may have a bit of crud that you missed which has now come loose and blocked something...

the floats should be good, the carbs have been stripped recently. will check the line.... again.

thanks for the replies.... I drained the tank again, and it had quite a bit of smalll stuff in, so I changed the inline filter and that seems to have done the trick....
floored it all the way up a long hill and no sign of hesitation.
I have another tank which I will have refurbed and slotted in.... longer term
