What is the best way to go about it? I tried Q20 and bashing it a bit. My gear puller does not fit around it.

You can get a custom steering wheel puller from one of the US ACVW parts suppliers.

Or make up a custom C-plate that will fit against the base of the wheel hub, then use a standard 3-arm puller to put it under tension.

First back off the nut on the shaft until it's flush with the top of the shaft (leave it there to prevent the shaft mushrooming), then use a R5 coin or similar to block the hole in the centre of the shaft.

Now you can use the puller to put the wheel under tension. Then I pour boiling water on the hub and it usually just pops loose.

That you're going to have to show me in person. ;)

I just can't visualize it...
