I had one on my T3 CI camper and when I took it off my fuel consumption was at least 109% better and the steering felt like it now had power steeriing.very heavy.

I have one like this on my 74 Autovilla. It weighs 25kg. I haven't noticed any difference in driving feel or fuel consumption with it fitted.
