'67 Fastback

Browsing this forum one day, I fatefully came across an advert for "The Family Fastback"..After asking a stupid question or two, a certain Mr IMPI offered me a 1967 Type 3 Fastback for a very healthy sum
After seeing pictures of the car and negotiating with the volks at home,which was an extremely tedious exercise, the green light was given and I could purchase it...
In the course of buying the car, I became very friendly with a particular Mr Pine who had originally bought the car, he advised me and answered many of my stupid questions
and eventually offered to take me thru to Orkney, where the Fastback stood in mourning..
Bright one Sunday Morning (June 10), we set out with hopes and fears with this mysterious Mr Pine to tow the Fastback from Orkney to Pretoria....
And the mysterious Mr Pine was unmasked, he was in fact a very friendly guy bubbling with positive energy
We spent the day at Mr IMPI's place in Orkney and promptly left in the afternoon, towing back the Fastback..
(Note:It must be said here that IMPI and Pine are two of the friendliest guys ever!!Good company and equally nice cars
)
Here it's parked outside at my place....

A very sad interior....

The floor pans are shot beyond shot so we planning to have new pans made up out of metal plate or whatever they use...

It attracts a lot of attention in it's present state,many people think it to be an old Porsche
My biggest problem at the moment is time:I'm forced to work on it at night only as I work 9-5
After seeing IMPI's '67 Fasty, we simply cannot wait until it's completed....
Although we have a pretty good idea of what we going to do, certain areas such as wheels are a bit confusing...So please contribute with your input as to what would look good on the car...
