I see its also been more than 2 years waiting for this project.

The 69 bus was #3 at the sand blasters.

More pics to follow tomorrow as well as #4 bus. Progress has been a bit slow lately, so 2019 must see at least another 4 restored kombis put back on the road.

Not sure actually, ive used several different sand blasters over the years and all have had a different type of sand.

If they use normal sea sand, which is illegal these days due to Silicosis, but it also has a hard impact due to the high pressure they need for it to work effective, this causes heat and warping of flat surfaces.

If they use Platinum slag, this has sharp corners, and will clean twice as fast as sand with a lot less pressure, which will not damage your flat surfaces.

just make sure they blast at 1/2 pressure.
