Hi guys
Have a look at my site:
http://tts.za.net
I'm local in Tokai, Cape Town but service from Melkbos, Worcester and Hermanus.
We can discuss anywhere further afield.
Regards
David Jones

Thanks
IBM Hardware (PC server) I get from Tarsus.
Been a while since I worked on AS/400 and the like.
SUCH a pity IBM let OS/2 decline. I loved that OS.

OS/2 is alive and well... if you want a lic I can sell you one. By the way when you get a svr from Tarsus do you have to assemble and install the firmware yourself or do they do it for you?

Thats fine, thanks. I had three valid copies of Warp. Threw them away eventually. OS/2 was great when Win3x was around but it kind of pales nowadays. Linux is the way to go.
Not sure what you mean by installing firmware.
I'm quite comfortable installing drives, RAM, RAID controllers, et al. Normally the firmware is up to date enough not to have to be changed. One only really does this after a year or so to handle updated OS software.

Well if you buy it from First Distribution we will install all the extras (drives, power suppplies, tower to rack convertions etc.) at no extra cost, wee will prep the machine for you so that all you have to do is install the OS. if there is a Drive failure we will pick it up and repalce it straight away... Give us a try you have everthing to gain....

I really only do about one server a year.
The bulk of my business is support related as opposed to hardware sales.
Do you have a web presence?

LINUX Rules.
I have 5 computers, 3 desktops and two laptops, all of them run some flavor of Linux.
I have not had a Windows installation at home since late 2002.

OS/2 rules

(used to anyway) All my old PLC software ran on OS/2. Only crashed once that I can remember and that was when I started Win 3.0 in OS/2. Pity the PLC manufacturer has moved all software to Windoos.
