Aircooled VW South Africa

Hi all

I have dual 34 Pdsit carbs with type 1 bug intakes and linkage. New seals have been added to the carbs. The only thing u need to make it work are air filters.

I would like to stop them for a single df downdraft setup (with intake) or a dual idf set up. I would add a cash difference if need be

How does that linkage work / fit?

2 bolts on either carb hold the linkage with a arm that goes down to the throttle body arm. Will send more pics later

Looks to me like the linkage is going to have a problem getting thru the Alternator / genny?

Works on a generator. Havent tried with an alternator
