Yesterday we took a ride to see the car in question and not too bad.
The Razzo is a kit car on a tubular frame that uses the Golf 1 parts, engine, gearbox front and rear suspension, dash, harness, windscreen etc.
The cat is in quite good condition although engine and box is not fitted, so now just up to my son to decide if he wants it.
pics to follow
Oh and there is also "Mugusta" not sure if spelling is correct.

Nice one, Thomas! Very similar to the US Jackrabbit, a Mk1 Golf (Rabbit)-based kit car.

Well I finally got the Razzo at my place and started to sort out what's what.
Got part of the motor but still need a few things. Apparently it is a a 1600 Polo motor.
What I would like to know is which Golf was this based on as I would like to replace the dash.
Other Items needed are:
Carb
Alternator
Distributor
I know this is an aircooled sight but........
Thanks

Nice one Thomas!

My guess would be that it is the 80's Golf 1 dash, as that is the car that the Rasso was based on.

Maybe the later CitiGolf dash will also fit?

Thanks Pine
I have been scouring the olx and Gumtree adds for spares and find that they are quite reasonable.
also been looking for a build manual of some sorts but no luck.

On Saterday I played around with the Razzo. Cleaned it up abit and then took it apart. There is a lot more space to work when the roof is off

Decided to spend some time on the Razzo today.
Awhile ago my friend with all the spares and junk, Terry gave me an old but complete Datsun 1200 dash so I decided to fit it into the Razzo.
It fits quite well but does not go right to the back where the windscreen and body meet but i am sure i can fabricate something out of F G.
Am trying to post pics but they will not load
