Post by Rabid_ant »

Alas..... this is going to be taking me longer than expected

Seems falling out of a ceiling does have it's downside :( even considering it happened almost a year ago!! Seems i killed a couple of small goodies in my wrist when it happened!! Nothing the doc cant sort though, just going to take ttiiiimmmmmeeeee. i.e. 3 months of no use, and considering it's my right hand, cant se much getting done!! i'll be forced to take up parts sourcing in the mean time ;) Bring on the scalpal

will keep you posted !

Hi Rabid Ant. I was knocked over by a beetle in 1977 and now have very little muscle strength in my right hand and wrist. Holding anything from a spanner, a pen or a tooth brush is a real effort sometimes but we have to soldier on. Just keep on trying. As the old saying goes "use it or lose it". Inthe last 30 years I have taught myself how to be right and left handed.

Thanks HR....seems they can get it sorted though. I still have full use, just cant get wild with it, couple of shredded ligaments and the likes...nothing a bit of wire and a cast cant fix. ;) G, if i missed your call apologies....wrapped up in meetings for most of the day. will drop you a mail

Ahhh...that Ant is out of hibernation....summer's coming sometime and it's time to start work again. Almost have a new hand (which is good) and can just about swing a spanner again. Have been keeping touch with all thats going on here, spotted a couple of new guys and many of the old. I see Vader has really crossed over to the Dark side while i've been sleeping and everything else is just......well.....normal. Look forward to spending some time with everyone.

Gonzalez is having his guts ripped out at the moment, floor pan needs some TLC, and then its out with suspension and engine, to go away and be made pretty again. Body workstill continues....and i'll just keep flatting! The engine debate still continues....so watch this space. My libran half can't decide, so my scorpion half will do the decision making. ;)

All in all, good to be back!!
