I ran a wbx dizzy on my ac type 4 with no issues. Just need the harness and tci module as well.

Remember that, if the type 4 Variant is the LE version with fuel injection, you will have to retain it's special dedicated original distributor. (This has additional set of contacts needed by the fuel injection).
