1976 1600s Beetle build (Pic Heavy)

So I decided to take the plunge and build the beetle I want
just thought I share the pics
1st the car as it was before we started
a little sad but I think I see potential
I am a big fan of the seat shape
well it time to get started....
lots and lots and lots of bodywork to do
look at the rust on the bottom of those doors (replaced with new metal)

the big question what color to choose
I was at the Autopavillion a while back and had a look at the last beetle built in south africa
took the color as the base inspiration , and then it was tweaked
1st panel sprayed
now this is a awesome example of copper metallic (well in my opinion anyways)
more panels sprayed
the nice thing about this color is how it changes as the light changes
well I will continue to add pics are the build progresses.
