Hi Guys and gals. I came across this beetle for a song. Needs TONS of love, but uhm yeah. In on the deep end of things. Starting to go through things to get it reliable first before starting on the cosmetics.
Im in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs anyone know who might have a line on a home mechanic or the like in the Northen suburbs?
Thx Guys
Andre

How about some pics? Regarding the search for a mechanic - how about you trying to do the basic stuff yourself before getting a mechanic? Get a decent manual, consult Youtube, Google, post questions on this forum, etc. You'll enjoy your journey with your Beetle much more if you start doing things yourself.

Air Cooled Culture Cape Town has a meet on Sunday 3 Sept at Starlight Diner parking lot in Bellville - see Facebook for more details. Pitch up and speak to some people.
