Re: 1970 Porsche 616/33-1 Engine for sale
What you have there, is a Porsche industrial engine from the early '70s. An excellent choice for a generator or a water pump, but not too good for a car (if it is still in standard form).
It only produced 43,5HP (worse than a standard Type 1 1600), and was built to run at 3000rpm. It had low compression pistons, skinny pushrods, weak valve springs, and bad cast iron lifters. The rest of the parts were equivalent to that of the road going engines.
In standard form it is not really suitable for road use, but could be converted, if you are prepared to spend PORSCHE money!
