Me too...Tony Z wrote: Mon Apr 09, 2018 1:31 pm Herman, he's asking about the tyres on the trailer, not the back axle. .....
That is what I wanted to hearCyndi Kritzinger wrote: Mon Apr 09, 2018 2:52 pm THESE NUMBERS ARE WHAT ARE ON TWO DIFFERENT TYRES THAT I HAVE, BOTH ON THE TRAILER AND THE SPARE.
YES, A SLIGHTLY SOFTER TYRE WILL GIVE IT A LESS BOUNCY RIDE.
THE PROPER TRAILER TYRE HAS A SQUARE PROFILE AS OPPOSED TO THE ROUND PROFILE OF THE SCOOTER TYRE. I WOULD THINK THAT THIS WOULD GIVE THE TRAILER A BIT MORE TRACTION AND STABILITY DUE TO A BIGGER CONTACT SURFACE. TYRES GENERALLY TRICKY TO FIND AND NOT CHEAP.

Haha. Yes. I found a really nice pair of these wheels with good tyres for R50 at my local pawn shop and grabbed them. When I got them home I realised the tyres are not high speed rated, the split rims were about half the thickness of the trailer rims, and there were plastic bushes inside, instead of proper ball bearings.
