I looked locally for vinyl sticker sheets that you can put in your printer at home and make some decals, but was unsuccessful. I therefore settled on printable sticker paper which I bought at Office National. I've downloaded JPEGs of the decals and plan to experiment. I couldn't get glossy paper, so my idea is to spray it with clear lacquer and stick it on the coil, fan housing, etc. It won't be 100% original but I'll give it a try.

I just walked into Copy Express at Hypermarket Brackenfell and the guy (Gerrit - 021 981 1403 gerrit@copyexpress.co.za) gave me an overview on what they do. Among other things, they can print ANY vinyl decals @ R360 per square metre. I mentioned my idea of recreating decals for classic cars and he said he'll do it, no problem. They also do T-shirt printing @ R95 for A4 size.

At R360/m2 I'll ditch my idea of printing at home and lump all my decals onto one square metre.
