I still think the white and red is a good colour combo.
Even the rims and shocks match ;-)

It's growing on me. It helps when I think of the extra work involved just to change the colour haha. I think I am going to spray the axle tubes white too then I will really be in business

I like the red and white theme as well. My baja has a yellow and white theme at the moment, it would look better yellow and black though I think but the bull bars are all painted white for visibility.

The axle tube retainer plate gaskets got cut last week so I put the axle tubes back on, they are all torqued up. Then put the gearbox back in to the Baja. Still need to tighten all the bolts ups but at least it is sitting where it needs to!

If there is anyone out there reading this that has a decent 1600 or 1776 motor for sale, single port or twin port please send me a private message.

I'm not a big Baja fan but I appreciate good workmanship. Good going so far!

So these seats happened to cross my path today, They are from an old Ford apparently. Anyone know which Ford? It must be a bakkie or 2 door because they flip forwards.

They have been recently recovered, I will be recovering the rear seat in the same style - Eventually.
They are just sitting loosely in the Baja now, I have not yet decided exactly how I will mount them.

Well it has been exactly 2 months since my last post so time for a bit of an update. Quite a bit has happened, but more should have happened.

I am very happy to say that I have a nice new engine built by TonyZ waiting to go in the Baja. If I can only find some time to bolt it in...work has been keeping me very busy lately but I can't complain as I wouldn't be able to spend on the Baja if I didn't have the work keeping me busy.

I had to replace the clutch cable because I couldn't get the nut off the end of the old one when I had to take the gearbox out so I ended up cutting it off.
I can say that I hope I don't have to mess with the pedal assembly anytime soon again. That is really a kak job. At least it is all back together now with the new clutch cable installed.

Pics ... yes I know ... pics ...

I am now looking for a decent 4 into 1 Baja/Buggy exhaust if anyone knows of one for sale? I really don't feel like making one.

So this project has been sitting for a while.

This package arrived for me today so lets hope it lights a little fire under me and I get moving!
